To provide specific features, CapDiem may request access to certain device capabilities:

• Biometric Authentication (FaceID / TouchID): Used strictly to lock/unlock the application and secure your local data. Biometric data is processed by your device's operating system and is never accessible to the CapDiem app itself or transmitted to us.
• Storage / File Access: Required only if you choose to export your data (e.g., generating PDF or CSV reports) to save files to your device.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All your financial data is stored locally on your device.
• Security: We utilize industry-standard practices to ensure the app functions securely. However, the security of your data also depends on the security of your device (e.g., device passcode, biometric security).
• Backups: Since we do not have a cloud server, we cannot restore your data if you lose your device or uninstall the app without a backup. You are responsible for managing any manual exports or device-level backups (e.g., iCloud or Google Drive backups of your entire device).

4. Third-Party Services

CapDiem contains no advertisements and no third-party tracking analytics. We do not integrate with third-party SDKs that collect user data.

5. Children’s Privacy

CapDiem does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13. The app is completely offline and safe for use by all ages, but it is intended for general financial management.
